Hahaha.... Ok,several things.... 1 It's waayyyy to hot to be breeding.Does don't take well in the heat. 2 is she old enough? 3 is she too old?... A doe should be bred by 6-8 mos.If they are older, they tend to grow a fatty covering to the ovaries which inhibits fertility. #4 how fat is she? Rabbits should not be overfed, this causing the fattening issue. Now,onto the male issue... Is he old enough?lol...(perfectly logical question..lol) .. We have never had a problem with males next to females. If he's gonna please himself, he gonna do it with or without her...lol... If he is mounting her, is she accepting? or sitting? If she is sitting, then he cannot reach the 'proper position'... If she is not ready, she will not 'accept' him. Hope I made that as kid friendly as I could...lol....

It's almost like an airplane in the sky -- it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be -- and moving a lot slower than I thought it would -- it'll go by tomorrow night (cloudy here tonight too, darn it -- I wanted to see some more of the Perseid meteor showers but no chance tonight) -- tomorrow night about 8:40 our time.

A normal plane? Or one in which you live close to the airport?....lol.... I have Cargo carriers who bend the trees when they fly over, they are so low...lol.... You can actually wave to the guys with the guns ...lol... The joy of having Nasa in your backyard, with special ops forces training based there.

OOOO K tahnks lol not sure how old she is and shes not fat and she is older than 8 months and i kinda thought it was teh heat too thanks i was just wandering

Good morning everyone. Another hot day. I got up about 5:30 AM and went out to open the coops, fed and watererd and did a quick walk around to make sure that everything was ok. I'm back in and about to get back in the bed. I'm tired and sleepy this morning. I woke up with a headache this morning. I think it was because of those mosquito repellant bands that I tried out last night. I think the scent irritated my sinuses.

Have a good day everyone.

Hope your headache goes away Julie! I got up at 6 & did the same thing. Up now for the day. The sink in my bathroom is stopped up so we get to go through the plumbing routine (it periodically does this) Jim up on the roof with the "unstopper thingie" (forgot what it's called, lol)

& me in the bathroom w/a walkie-talkie (in case it runs over, which it did once).

Then I'm going to make some chocolate chip cookies. I was trying to avoid doing this w/the excuse I didn't have any chocolate chips, but I opened the freezer to take some chicken out to thaw for supper tonight & wouldn't you know it, there was a Dove dark chocolate rabbit from Easter - I had bought a couple on closeout at Walmart & stuck them in the freezer. So now I have chocolate for choc. chip cookies!

Hope you get the plumbing resolved without to much of a hassle.

You still have chocolate bunnies in the freezer -- lucky you! There is no way that I'd have chocolate bunnies in my freezer in August unless someone else put it in there and hid it from me, or unless I've developed Alzeimers and hid it from myself.

Julie, I hope your headache goes away soon and that you enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

We're going out to our property to try to get some work done. We're hoping to get some clearing done to line out my chicken pens. Now that we're finally about to burn hopefully we can "gain some ground" for chickens.

We met with the carpenter yesterday to get some quotes for some work to be done.

Good morning! I am curious to see, has anyone heard or been to Lutcher? It's where the bonfires are lit on the levee. That's where I'm from.

Julie, hope your headache get's better. I woke up the same way and had to go back to bed to get rid of it.

Terri, hope you goy your plumbing problem fixed!!

Twiley, good luck on gettting some work done! We were supposed to get up early and get some weed wacking done but our air went out again last night so there was no way I was going to be outside sweating to death and not have a way to cool off!! Thank goodness our friend came back out around 2 and fixed it again!!

joe17, not sure where Lutcher is act but I have heard of it!!

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!!

Terri..Hope ur plumbing is fixed. We had a plumbing emergency a few weeks ago.the gurls flushed hair clips and forks and beanie babies... lol... It was about 9 at night when it first happened then like 5 in the morning..lol...A nighmare!!!! ...lol...

Sorry to hear bout ur air Missi. When we built the house,we were told to use a 2 ton unit. Well, we are now being told in order to cool our home properly we should have at least a 3 1/2 or 4 ton.
