Terri, most of my friends say that I need professional help because I am obsessed with getting free stuff, coupons and savings but I don't think so. With the price of everything in the store today, a person has to save money and try to get discounts as often as they can. I guess it's easier for people to just go in the store and pay for things as opposed to finding FREE stuff takes time, effort and know-how and most people don't have the time to do it and that's ok. Everyone's lifestyle is different. It just so happens that I have time to find free stuff and I take advantage of it. I also help others out when I see something that they need. I will get it for them.

And we won't even talk about all of the free stuff that I win on the radio. That's another story.

I wish I was that luck to have planted a money tree. Maybe next life time.

Sorry about the long post, just wanted to share a few tips if anyone was interested. I"ll keep it short next time. I"ll keep the money savings ideas and freebies to myself next time. I won't bother ya'll with that foolishness anymore.

Free Acorns (Perkins/Bluebonnet)

What do you do with acorns? & is Perkins/Bluebonnet a particular variety of acorns? are some of them toxic?

Asking because we have a huge acorn tree in the side yard, which produces acorns, but we never did anything w/them. I know you can tan hides with them, but I have no hides to tan at present....

(if Jim doesn't get out of that cast soon, that could change...)

That posting was from Craigslist in the Baton Rouge area for all of the La-yers who are in that area and may need some.

Back at you . lol Actually it's neat , just a little hustle , and one can find all sorts of goodies . Apparently you are in the know . That's great about the pine straw !!! Sounds like it will be clean straw also , clean straw is easy to rake up .
