Asking because we have a huge acorn tree in the side yard, which produces acorns, but we never did anything w/them. I know you can tan hides with them, but I have no hides to tan at present....

Speaking of acorns , when we moved in our house last Christmas , the Wildlife and Fisheries came to collect the acorns from our tree . They said it was a rare kind . The lady that lived here before gave them permission and if they come back this year , he can rake and get he wants .

Taking hubby out to dinner!! He got transferred to a substation that's 3 minutes from out house that's about to open!! He'll also be the shift supervisor!!

When do they start eating ? Cause I know nothing about this process .

They don't have to eat for a few days. They will start eating if you have food in the brooder. I'll probably take her out this evening.
