Really? I never knew you could house train a goat! A house goat. I am just having trouble wrapping my mind around that concept...

Congrats on the great hatch Missi!

You would have even more trouble actually seeing it. A few people on BYC have pet house goats.

I'm sorry but I can't even imagine having goats, chickens, etc. in my house. Yes I will brood babies in the house and will have a sick chicken in a cage in the house.. but man I get so grossed out when I see people taking picture of their chickens on the stove, computer desk, bed, kitchen tables, etc. To me it's just nasty!!

Missi, I'm the same way. I always use my back room as a brooder when I have those surprise mucsovys that pop up and also have other new born babies that I can't put outside in the cold but to have a house pet, oh no, I don't think so.

LOL @ people taking pictures of chickens on the stove, computer desk, bed, kitchen table, etc.

AMEN! & I couldn't agree w/ya'll more!

I have had sick/orphaned animals upstairs in the study -- but I have enough with 2 dogs & a cat roaming around downstairs - sure don't need any "barn" animals in the main living areas! Nor do the dogs & cat get on the countertop, table, etc. We just have to keep our bathroom doors closed or Winnie will get the toilet paper or kleenex & run through the house w/it & then shred it. She is our little "confetti-maker".
