I do it by myself. I lasso them up and hog tie them and commence to trimming. I think we should have a sheep hoof trimming contest. That would be a lot of fun.
I'll warn you, I've gotten pretty good at it!
This video is a pretty good demonstration of how I do mine. I don't know what it is about sitting them down like that, but once they are in that position they don't struggle much at all. Not something to be done on my big pregos though! They look like some little hippos right now! I think I should have my first lambs of the year in a couple weeks. My Lola is looking pretty large and in charge. Her bag has grown a lot in the past week.
