Worn out from Tuesday!

I like simple and cheap! where do you get the pallets?

Hubby has gotten into the habit of asking any business that has pallets outside. He gets a lot from a moving company and they have plywood out there too from large boxes.

We take one pallet and tear the boards off another to make a bottom. We use some pallet wood he has gotten with 4 x 4s as legs then use the plywood sheets or other pallets to make the sides and top. We paint them and then add the runs.

I have been using pallets for so many years. I have saved A LOT of money that way. I would post pics but I have too many pics to post. I don't want to overload the thread.

16 tons of sand have been delivered to my house !!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't look like a lot but I can't see the back to see how much is in the back.

Makes you feel rich, doesn't it? We need to get another load (another thing on the ever-growing "to-do" list!

I took my nieces to the property yesterday. They live in town, so they love to come play farmer for the afternoon! I can't wait until the birds molt and the grass turn green again. I'll have to get my sister out there to take some better pics!
