Thanks for that visual image!Yeah I know it I'm bout a week or more behind on everthing Sandy. Since I been sick with the cruds I just do get the chores done much less anything else(as in making money) which has got to get back in the making again things are getting tight and thin around here. I got more to do than two people should have to do much less work in between time. LOL hoping to get caught up on a bunch this weekend,in between the coughing up lungs and harking lugeys and blowing boogies
(sick huh?) I know it. Havent got to enjoy a meal in a week I eat(have and appetite) but just can't taste nuthin' so I just live off memories of what I remember things used to taste as.![]()

Jeff

I am having a miserable turkey hatch. One won't stand and the second hatched with only two toes on one foot. None of the others--even the chicken eggs in with them are trying to pip. Every deal I thought I had for Swedish Flower Hen pullets fell through so now I have to commence to setting eggs and waiting for them to grow up. Grrrrrr.
I have had a chicken with the intestine hanging out --but mine hatched that way. Three of them. I looked it up--caused by temperature spikes or drops that went on too long. I found online it said to use a damp qtip to push the intestine back in and bandaid it shut. I did...one survived and is healthy. It is a shame yours didn't make it.
