"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Ooooooooo, that sounds wonderful !!! I like that. Sounds like you are an experience author yourself. I LOVE that!!! Especially the idea of people thinking it is about green peas. CUTE !!!!!! Maybe we can "co-author" this book?

And we can bring Amanda on board to get the perspective from a child. She could add more "fun" to it from a child's eye. Hey, you have an excellent idea. If you are serious about it, I think we should think about that as a project. I'm serious !!!

I'm retiring next week, sounds like a project to me. I have a niece that is a great artist. Amanda is all about FUN, it's her middle name. We can do more research into the story of the lady. I am getting excited!!!

Congratulations on retirement!

Thanks. My kids at school are getting weepy about it and trying to talk me out of it. When they hug me and won't let go and start to cry I have to tell them "please please don't cry because you"ll make me cry and that is NO Good at all." Then I tell them all about my replacement who is so cute and smart and fun and energetic and all things good, my babies will love her very quickly, anyway, I promised to sub for her so I will see them again. I am so excited about retiring, I have lots and lots of chicken and building and gardening plans.

I'd like a copy of your potion, just for future reference, please!
Throwing my hat in the ring to help also -- still writing my bimonthly column in the personna of my Winnie - & on my final rewrite of my book I wrote a year ago - plan on sending it out to publishers this summer. I think the idea of a children's book about your adventure is a great idea!
with us on this, we might all be able to retire!!

Subbing is a great idea along with building & gardening is awesome just stay busy & you will stay healthy. My Momma retired May 2001 driving a school bus for 20 yrs. She started working at Wal Mart ( The Door Greeter) the same year a few hours a week, When she off she helps me out here on the ranch. She will be 72 this July & is in great health! Congratulations on your retirement!
