"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Roflmbo 1mrsmagoo they better be glad it wasnt my place because I would have met them at my gate with a gun and let the donkey after their dog. At the point they tore down my fence 1 or more of them would have had their butt fixing it immediatly. Make a damage report as they are responsible for time and labor for any reapairs.

On another note critter count is 2 coons 1 possum and some very smart foxes still running around so beefing up the traps

Good job on the critter count.! :thumbsup

Thanks guys for all the info, he's all taped up. I had to get my daughter to help, but not before she had to put it on instagram and laughing her butt off about what I was doing to the poor lil guy. ugg teenagers!

Ok everyone.... I need advice and QUICK! Here is the deal. I had some eggs under a broody... She was killed. They were out for a while.. I put them under another broody. Then she was killed. Chickenbelle told me of a few things I could do. I ended up putting them in shoe box with a towel in it and putting a heat lamp on them. Well today is hatch day. I figured they died and didn't expect anything to happen.. Well, one has externally piped. I har no idea what to do. What position the egg should be in.. Should I be misting it??

That is sooooo exciting !!!!!!!! I have never incubated chicken eggs but I don't think it matters the position they are in. And no, you don't have to mist the eggs.

Good luck with the foxes Mike...they can be a pain to catch.

As to the rodeo....yeah, lots of stuff I wanted to do, but have NO idea who the heck these people were? Their are about 10-12 people that have cattle in the immediate area (400 acres of them a couple miles behind me) and I didn't recognize a single one of them to send a "bill". At the point things were, it was all I could do to not end up jailed over the whole thing...lol. I kept thinking about sending a shovel to the side of the one man's head.

Thanks. I've never incubated them either. Always let a broody do it... But after the incident with the neighbors dogs, I don't have one. I literally put them in a shoe box with a towel and heat lamp. I didn't expect anything to happen but would have felt terrible if I'd just thrown them out

Well you did the right thing. I am sending GREAT vibes your way. I want them to hatch in remembrance of your lost hens. :fl
