Mine won't eat carrots or lettuce either. But they love spinach and also cucumbers. Nice! My girls are picky as well. They hate ALL vegetables. They only like some fruit. Got my runners and khakis yesterday, my first ducks! Didn't know females mounted other females, I called the seller telling her I got one too many drakes lol, have some learning to do..
Yep, she is definitely fat. You would think with all of the watermelon she eats, she would be thin. I guess that's "FLUID" in her that makes her look so fat.
I the same as you, I always look for people who don't want their fruit and I always try to get whatever I can and make use of it. My family hates when I ask people for stuff. I tell them the only thing the person can tell me is "NO". If you don't ask, you will never know.
I think I have enough figs for this season.
My next mission is Muscadines. I'm on the hunt so that I can make some muscadine wine.
I have muscadine wines all over my property but I haven't seen any fruit on any of them. will have to research when they produce fruit, My Dad makes some awesome muscadine wine
