Yeah.... for $75 I'll stick with getting hatching eggs!! More gamble but I can get over a dozen eggs for half that price. Heck, I got my first two seramas as free eggs when I bought some d'uccle eggs. It's so funny watching Rya walk around next to my bantam polish hens. She looks like a chick but has the attitude of a chicken the size of a jersey giant. Heres a baby pic of my 2 older seramas: Rub their bellies = instant coma. If anyone wants a 5 week old cockerel chick, let me know!

The black designer chicks (Marans) are rocking back and forth in the incubator and have been all night. I must have been drinking my wine when I made the decision to put eggs that hatch in 21 days with eggs that hatch in 28 days (pea eggs) together in the incubator. Now today is lockdown for the pea eggs and chicken eggs are still hatching. Why me???? I gotta make some quick changes today and hope that what I'm about to do will work. I may have to call my therapist but I don't want to alarm her because she might think that I'm calling about a new prescription to help control my anxiety attacks caused by the result of that "fire thing" that happened many years ago. I need some of Terri's spinach dip right now to make me feel better.

Ok...forgive me for being a little "preachy" today...

If you have a moment, take a look on Facebook and look up "Remembering Ann Reese" . I have mentioned it here before. This family has awed me with their faith, love and resolve while enduring a loss I can't even begin to imagine. I think sometimes people enter our life to help remind us to be thankful for the family and friends in our life; even when things might not always be perfect. Take a moment to look, after a tear or two...it reminds us to be thankful.

LOL yeah I remember those years of yore long ago. LOL now when I get up at 4 o'clock its usually for an emergency(dogs got a possum or coon treed needing shot out) a pee-pee break or indigestion or something to that effect not from overjoyed anxiety (used to do this on the first mornings of hunting season) not any more Go back to bed squirrels and deers LOL

My chili plans for yesterday were thwarted at ever turn!!! Not today though! Its on and smelling good. I pretty much get to do what I please today. Hubby is at drill and these kids are worn slap out from the school week. Plus our oldest twisted my arm last night and convinced us to go to the football game. She has her eye on a boy!! Ah! Lord help us!

I don't know about y'all, but I'm enjoying the sound of football!!

Haha. Sometimes I go to put 10' boards in and anyone with me says,"you can't fit this in that little car." " you obviously do not know me and my Priss (Amanda went with me car shopping for my Prius. She was about 4 years old and called it a Priss. Lol. On Saturday morning I would say "Amanda, you want to go kick tires today?" She would say yes and when we would get to a dealer she would take out her car seat and drag it behind her by the straps and kick all the tires. Haha. We had such a good time. ). Anyway, I got very off subject. I honestly believe I can move anything in that car. Lol
