I put a vanilla tree car air freshener in my coop to keep mosquitoes out and found it keeps everything out.

Morning La-yers! Wow we talk a lot, get sick for a week and had to catch up on close to 40 pages.

I went to a moving sale last weekend. I saw the rooster bowl and loved it. I also loved the chicken print. The bowl was a kitchen prop in the movie Pitch Perfect. Anyway, she said if I paid $15 for the bowl she would throw in the print for free. When I got home I looked closer at the print. Turns out it is a signed numbered Beth Cummings print worth several hundred dollars. It had authentication on the back. Go figure, I just liked the chickens.

I was excited, nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I just liked the chickens in the print. Lol

I think I live on the wrong side of the state now. Ya'll find the greatest deals over there!

Morning everyone!

Darn chickens. We open the coop up at 6.... they glare at us like we're insane and go back to sleep until 8 every day. Hubby forgets to open it before leaving once and I don't open it up until 8 and the girls act like I'm a jerk for not opening the door sooner. Just can't win.

I broke down & paid $20 to have my car detailed this morning. I can't stand to touch it w/lovebugs on it.

This is the first IB pea chick that hatched yesterday. It is 2 days early. :/ It was not scheduled to hatch until Friday.

I guess that baby pea just couldn't wait to start life at Fertile Acres. Lol

Maybe he couldn't have waited but I could have.
