We didn't vote him in the second time. The people voted mostly against him. He won by electoral collage votes only. At some point the sheep will wake then we will have another war, until then all we can do is stand up for what little rights we have left and try to wake them up.

That would be mostly lawyers. Ray Nagin a super delegate who is now being investigated and charged with crimes Katrina related. So Lawyers and crooks. That's who runs the gov. Also a lot of young (collage) people voted for him.

He's done a lot of damage but we had a lot of dept before he took office. We were also losing our rights. I can't stand him either but the real problem is almost every elected pres. congress, etc are layers to begin with. We need to stop voting them in. The really bad part its his last term so he's not worried about what people want just his agenda.

Ron, you really said something there. We can't forget that the worse crash in decades was under Bush and the Congrss and if Bush hadn't bailed out the big companies that were running themselves into the ground it would have been as bad as in the 1930's. Wall Street are loaded with criminals that suck the country dry. A long list of companies that almost took us under and all that happens is the CEO gets fired with a billion dollar golden parachute. There are MANY Madoffs out there robbing hard working people of their money. When R. Allen Stanford went down I had just transferred my pitiful retirement money there but he hadn't had a chance to convert it into his bogus c/D's. but my very close friend was not so lucky, she lost 1/2 of her retirement. Fortunately she was a frugal living person and is ok. So, Ron, you are right, there's a lot of poison out there. People so greedy that they don't care who they destroy in order to live crazy crazy rich. (I have no problem with honest rich People, good for them. ). I hope everyone gets crazy rich, just not dishonestly or by tricking and stealing from others.

I say that if the government can "bail out" these large companies, then why not bail out the America people from "reasonable" debt. Perhaps households could benefit from $5,000.00 or less. Families that the parent's may have lost their job and fell behind on their bills. Take some of this welfare assistance money that is being abused on Little Debbie Cakes and Corn Chips and move that money to "Bailing Out America's People) to give people a little help in trying to pay off a little debt to give families some breathing room so that they can better provide for their children and families. I'm just saying...........

Umm...
So...I feel kinda weird barging into y'alls conversation here...about Chinese Crawfish ***gross*** and class-action lawsuits about AT&T (I got one of those a month ago, by the way).  But I am hoping y'all fellow Louisianans can help me out with a theory I have.

You see, I have 3 Cuckoo Marans hens and 2  Rhode Island Red hen.  At least, every other day I get a soft shell egg.  I am not sure who's doing the layin'.  They have plenty of crushed oyster shell (that is mixed with their feed).

My theory is this...Is it possible that one or two are laying these "bad eggs" early in the pre-dawn hours after laying their "good egg" the day before?  Like, say perhaps the "good egg" at 1 pm then, the soft egg around 6am?

It would make since with only 5 hens.  I am getting between 4-7 eggs a day.

These are the first chickens we have had.  So, I still don't know what I am doing half the time :/

Like I said...Sorry to intrude.    But it did look like y'all wanted to talk eggs.

Yea, I was kind happy as well. That's a few bags of chicken feed. More than I had before. So, I'm ok with it.

Oh don't get me started with Obama Care. That is ridiculous. I am TOTALLY AGAINST Obama care. That is the STUPIDEST (is that a word?) idea that I have EVER heard if. I am so upset about that Obama care, I would bite a nail and crunch it up to make sand. A lot of small companies will close down and people will be out of a job because of the Obama Care. I wonder if he thought about that. Then that will affect the unemployment rate. How can you MAKE someone get insurance? Seriously !!!!!!!!!!

For $5,000 they can buy a cheap trailer that FEMA is practically giving away after their mishap many years ago and place it on a small lot. No more rent then and that would go a great way in improving their lives. However, if you just toss money at people they will most likely not think practical and just go out and buy the next I-something or another.

I was beginning to worry! I...wait...we have gotten 12 soft shells since last month - that's when they started laying.

So, naturally I came here for answers.

AT&T is the ONLY thing in our area.  Suddenlink is unwilling to bring cable across the street   Their box is literally across the street from me.  ARRRGG!  Cox cable would have done it, but then it changed to Suddenlink.

Where I am, the ONLY option is satellite. Time Warner told me it would be $5000.00 to run cable wire down my street to my house...REALLY?!?!?!?! Seriously!?!?!?!
