The guineas run off the feral cats, stray dogs, raccoons, opossums and those kinda varmints. And after they run them off, they come running and flying from down the road making their loud cackling sound. They are crazy! :/

I need to borrow some for a while.  We have a momma and baby opossum that have been walking our yard.  The chickens are locked up tight with 1/4 in hardware cloth, but it's messing with my fall garden!

Yes, you need to definitely borrow them. I have not seen a 4 legged predator in A LONG TIME since I have had my guineas. They are ruthless!

Quick question:

Two of my girls have small bloody spots on their combs. I'm not sure if it was Horn Dog Harry or a pecking order issue.
What can I put on them? I have neosporin and I have lanolin 30% (use on horses). Or, is there something else you suggest?

This is why I have to take my meds every day. This crazy woman decides to pull in front of me with no signal, no warning or nothing and NOWHERE to fit her VEHICLE!!!! I ripped her a new one. Some people. I tell you. I can understand road rage.

Sorry to hear about the spots. What you did is good.

You saw the spots this morning? Are all of the black scabs gone?

Super 1 had put out more stuff on clearance this morning.

1/2 gallon milk was $0.75
1/2 gallon of buttermilk was $0.50
6 container pack of rice pudding was $0.50
pack of hash browns was $0.50


And the cream cheese is still $0.50. I picked up 2 more. I think I may get more and freeze them. I have to make room in my freezer as well as buy ANOTHER freezer. I have the freezer part at the top of my fridge and I have another chest freezer. I think I need either another chest freezer or an upright freezer. The chest freezers are $169.00 at Sam's.

No, one of the hinge pins for the rear glass(back hatch) fell out to get one you have to buy the whole hinge. They don't have it listed separate for her rig on the GM site I looked on (pretty good one too) The auto parts folks I have to deal with in Leesville don't generally know a spark plug from a block pug.

Most just know that both, end in plug (warm bodies is all)

Maybe with your resources you may be able to locate her one. I don't know any other options than the "stealership" or junkyard, honestly. At least you're in the right vicinity on the car

LOL I always go on the 'puter here and get my numbers in hand before I head off to town to get my parts LOL and most still want to know what I'm working on right off the bat.

After I get them to get me right part, then I'll go thru all that 'rigamarole' for the warranty purposes an all. Not trying to cramp your style here

but there's just very few "parts people" out there anymore. 'bout the same can be said for "mechanics" too

You should have seen me changing a defunk pick up coil in the parking lot of O'Reilly's in leesville. The first replacement was not conducting like it should and was overheating so I used the warranty and replaced it. First they didn't like it because "your truck doesn't have one". Then "you can't pull that cap off, you'll ruin your timing". (so, they heard something and misunderstood, at least they knew it was a distributor but only because every spark plug wire ends up there) Then I asked my friend to bump it so I could get everything lined up to pull out the old and put new in. They about pulled me off that truck. Said it was unsafe to sit on the motor because I could get shocked or break it. I could hit that thing with a sledge hammer and if it was a lucky hit might crack the air intake but the motor???? no way! Then I pulled out the old part and gave it to them (discolored as heck for misconducting) and popped the new one in. They asked me if I had someone to get my truck out of their parking lot before closing. I said up, fired it up and left. Mind you I did this repair in a dress, that may have added to their stupidity but I highly doubt it.

Sad about the GSD I wish I had room for him.

Agree about the pound people, although ours here has improved considerably. They now showcase animals on the local TV for adoption. Still put a lot down though.

Congrats on hard shelled eggs!!

It's supposed to be in the 80's Sat & Sun; might have to break out a sweater or light jacket.

I favor uprights as things tend to"drift" to the bottom of the chest types & get lost. That's a good price though! Wish I had room for another one.
