"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

His family had him for almost a week. He was expected to die when he was delivered. His family had such a wonderful gift of time. Now, they will continue to grieve, but then begin to heal. The thoughts and prayer are appreciated. I have let them know that there are so many praying for their family.
Now, I continue to "feed" them. I'm Italian, it's how we show we care. It feels inadequate, however, I know how much we appreciated it at times of loss.
Thanks for listening...

Not so happy this afternoon. Woke my son up this morning, around 6 a.m., told him to go clean out the pools for the ducks. They had teacher I service this morning so I figured, hey, save me some time, I can get to work early. This evening at around 6:30, I come home to a flooded yard. Yep, over 12 hours of water running full blast! His chore list just increased 10 fold...

Oh, oh. Someone's in big trouble.

Update on my girls. They definitely have fowl pox. The wounded girl has it the most severely around her eyes. I'm topically treating them with hydrogen peroxide, and I've added Terramycin to their water in case of wet pox, but so far I haven't seen any signs of that. Unfortunately they seem worse now in the second to third week of it. Is that normal?

Yikes! I have had mornings that I woke up to find the sprinkler had been on all night. The only problem was I was the one that had to do extra chores!
