Good morning all! I do not know what it feel like outside. I am down for the count(self inflicted)......at least for the moment. I am hoping to feel better with a little time and these meds. When hubby is out of town sometimes (most of the time) I push it way too hard. I did that the last 2 days especially. The good news is that I actually got some things checked of my list with the help of my two angels. I could not have done it without them! I am so thankful for them!

My Darkling beetles are coming along nicely.....at least to me they seem to. Not that I really know what I am doing or anything. One thing that surprised me is that the pupa are hatching way faster than I though they would. One week max! I have barely any worms left as almost all of them have turned into pupa. Now I am wondering how long it will take the beetles to get on the love train under that egg carton!
 
OH! I wanted to ask if anyone has a favorite pumpkin bread recipe? Or any other pumpkin recipes......we are going to have pumpkin coming out of our ears!!!!! Yesterdays pumpkin adventures (from only one pumpkin) yielded 15 cups of very thick puree. I need to eat some!

I markes off a few thinga as well. Feels good when that happens.

Now the beetle project sounds very interesting. Hope that you're taking pics so that we can see.

I was looking for pumpkin recipes late last night too. Hopefully someone will post something. I'm excited about roasting the pumpkin seeds.

I have been soaking them in salt water then swirling them around in a strainer to get off any small pumpkin bits that may be left. Then I just dried them in the oven. When all this pumpkin madness is over I am thinking I will divide them up and do different flavors, a little olive oil and roast them. Ranch, Garlic & Herb, Spicy Chili & Salted.

You must try the recipe I posted last night!!! It is amazing, and you would never guess by the amazing taste that is it relatively healthy!!!!!!
