We bought 8 ft trees last year, I have to go look up the names. Low chill hour hybrid and another one it can cross pollinate with. I'll know how they fruit next season
The pool is a 35 year old monster of a pain in the bum but so needed in the summer for cooling off from yardwork more than play even.
Next year it will get remodeled (hopefully be able to shrink it down and make a more normal shape lol
But we love it when its needed so we maintain it.

That's exactly why he wants to get rid of it. 48000 gallon wow that's big. That used to be my job before wreck I liked cleaning the pool. Mine is only 14000 gallon. I can't do it now because of neck/ back issues. We bought one of those automatic cleaners they work really good.
I think he wants it gone bad enough to get a few fruit trees. Do you have bing cherry? If so how are they producing here?

Thanks for the get well wishes! I think the virus is mostly done with us now.

Did anyone else know blue jays can perfectly mimic the cry of a hawk. A few days ago I was starting to turn the girls out when I heard an extremely close hawk cry and was about to start shoving chicken butts back in while I looked for the source to hear it again and see a d*** blue jay sitting about 10 feet away smugly. Little troll. Then it cawed like a crow and flew off.

I have a whole family of blue jays that live in the big oak tree about 25 feet away from chicken coop they have made some weird sounds, I have watched them eat scratch with my chickens when I throw it on the ground.

Some man just stopped by my place & wanted me to give him a few chickens REALLY some people just don't have a clue what chicken cost & the love I have for mine. And don't worry before he left I introduced him to Turk my turkey who has taken it up on himself to be a watch turkey. And does a real good job scaring off people that don't belong here. To top it off made me miss the Saints kick off

NO he said He moved from Texas and had to leave all he chickens there. So I should give him a few to get him started again. Been having a bunch of robberies in this area, praying he was scooping my place out. My dogs met him at the gate before me as they always do.

Lemon go to LSU agriculture web site and look for Dan Gill's section. He has all kinds of info on citrus. Or listen to him sat. Morning on WWL A.M. Radio between 7 to 9 am. This guy knows his stuff about insect and fungal problems. Good luck!
