I live on a dead end, and anytime someone comes down our street, they are well watched by our neighbors. They have to come past 7 houses who will take down license plate #'s and call to see if I am expecting anyone. I live in Mayberry, USA ! Once my alarm went off accidently, and my neighbor was at my gate within 5 minutes, ax from chopping wood, still in hand! honest! Then they would have to get past my part labs that guard the grounds and alert me as I am heard of hearing. Then past the Hoffa geese and 30 something Holland turkeys. I don't think anyone would want a chicken that bad! LOL
Seriously???????????????????????? He wanted you to GIVE him a few chickens
On a serious note, be careful because he may be back to help himself to your chickens when you're not there.

If I run it's a Jason thing...I killed it (or thought I did) and it's still coming after me! I used to run track, play football, basketball, and volleyball when I was in school. What they didn't tell me then is because of it I would no longer have proper range of motion, several surgeries, and have my body make sounds that would make you cringe. My husband would joke and put a can of WD-40 on the nightstand saying all my cracking and creeking woke him up.
That roo would be in the gumbo pot by the time his crow ended, if he was mine. WOW, I wouldn't do that to my neighbors even if I could stand it! LOLOne of the chicken pages on fb posted this yesterday. Wow. I'm glad my boys at least have a cute crow!!!

I know he gave is free will, but he has intervened so many times in my life, against those who could have harmed me or my family, I know all things are possible with God! I would never even start to put a limit on what He can and Will do. If I had ever listed all the ways he saved me, no one would believe me. It even amaze doctors. Like the 3 Hebrew children, in the book of Daniel, we can walk through fire and not even smell of smoke, if Christ walks with us and when we are not strong enough to protect ourselves, He does it. We have power over ALL our enemies, in Christ's name! I know this to be a fact!
What does anyone need with 7 salad tongs? I sure could have used the gas pills last week and have them on my shopping list. Might stop tomorrow and see if Dollar general has any in the store near me left. Don't have a super 1 around me, but canned vegetable at LeBlanc has Libby's canned vegetables for 44cents a can and 2 liter coke products for 88 cents, starting tomorrow.Dollar General had a 70% off clearance items and I lucked up and found a few things.
Halloween paper plates. $0.30 per pack. I bought 10 of them.
Halloween door mats were only $1.00. I bought 5 of them. They are heavy and thick.
Bottles of Cinnamon for $0.13. I bought 7 of them.
Lip Balm (rang up for $0.22) and Anit Gas Capsules (2) ( rang up for $0.75 (since we were talking about toot tooting and our beans last week)
Pasta sauce. They were $0.10. I bought 17 of them.
Salad Tongs - $0.35. I bought 7 of those.
Super 1 Sales
2 lb containers of Dannon Yogurt at Super 1. They only had 2 of them. They also had the Organic Stoneyfield - 2 lbs for $1.00. Only 1 left.
I also scored 2 gallons of goat milk. They were $1.00 each. 1 Skim milk gallon for $0.75.
Super 1 also had turkeys on sale that were $0.50 a lb. I bought 4 of them to give away. I usually put together a box of food (Thanksgiving Dinner) and give away to a couple families who can't afford to buy any food, so the turkeys will be going to 4 families.
I had a long day of shopping. Talk about fun fun fun!!!
My hens are always pulling stunts, like laying eggs in garbage cans, boxes, boats, on tractors, under equipment! Crazy chickens! LOL

Boy, I thought I had the only hubby to do those things. A month ago, hubby was up late eating some fried chicken. Not being good at finding room in our cramped refrigerator and planning to feed it to the dogs in the morning, he put the plastic tray in the oven. A couple days later, me not dreaming anyone would put plastic in an oven, turned the oven on to preheat to bake, without looking. Next thing I knew was the house filling with awful black smoke and the plastic melted onto the oven floor and on fire. And he tells me I am overcautious because I keep a fire extinguisher in my kitchen and another in the utility room! I wasn't a fire fighter for nothing!
