So far 2 eggs have hatched here, and apparently I was wrong about who laid the white eggs. The first is not pure sultan as I'd hoped, but Sultan X Japanese bantam. It's definitely taking after daddy though, with that big head knot. The second is Sultan X Silkie. Fingers crossed they are pullets! I'll wish for chicken eating pests to choke on their own greedy tongues before taking anymore of any of all of our birds and to end the year with every chicken we don't want eaten!

Yes!  That is so funny because my teen always acting like she can totally focus on something and then she will say, "Oooohh, SHINY!!!"  Lol, she gets distracted easily.

Ok, now I get it! Just have to go into the mind of a teenager. Oh, no!! Help.

Hey, we were talking about the next fair wearing a certain shirt so we would know our group. They would be super cheap to make.

That would be fun. At the LSU show I would walk up to people and ask if they were on BYC LA-yers. They'd say "huh??"
