I have the manuka oil it has a peculiar smell. Do the flowers smell like that too? Tea tree would be a substitute . It takes a lot less manuka and it is more potent than tea tree. I like it the smell can be an acquired taste. The good thing is the smell dissipates after you put it on Pam

It does have a peculiar smell. I recall the honey having a very strong flavor and the smell of the flowers being quite distinctive. I wouldn't characterize it as unpleasant, but it can be quite strong, especially in the early evening. The flowers are small and use the scent to attract pollinators which are typically small insects rather than bees. My recollection of the smell of manuka oil vs. tea tree oil is that I thought tea tree oil had a more unpleasant smell. It has been a while since I have used manuka oil, so I my memory may be a little off.

I need dinner inspiration today. Don't feel that great, so I'm not hungry.......but have to feed the troops. What is on your table tonight?

I thawed out some ground round so doing Salisbury steaks w/mushroom gravy over mashed potatoes and broccoli for the veggie.

If I’m feeling “off” I usually do tomato soup, buttered saltine crackers and toasted cheese sandwhiches.

You have to watch Annabelle. Her little butt will run in the house like a cat if you aren't paying attention. She learned real quick where I keep the sack of BOSS. 

Primrose is that way too. I have to be sure that door is closed or she walks right in. I had the eggs on the floor in the skillet and in a second she was trying to break open those eggs even though she doesn't break them in the nest. I enjoyed bench sitting this afternoon. It was wonderful. No bite in the air at all. How amazing is that?

its pungent not bad just peculiar like a vinegar mustard kind of smell. Not like anything I've smelled before. It is excellent at healing skin problems. The honey's smell isn't as strong but does taste like medicine. I haven't used it daily but I think I'll start to see if I notice any difference. Pam

I love to do a quick chicken and veggie soup. I usually have some type of chicken in the freezer I can use (rotisserie, baked, etc) something that was a leftover. Then I throw in a bunch of different veggies. Carrots, mushrooms, celery, onion,potatoes,tomatoes, green beans, peas.

My lap is the safe zone on the porch whether I approve or not lol

Don't squat, run. It's funnier to watch that way. Mine come up the stairs and peck at the door waiting for a treat. They learned from my late rooster that they bounce off the windows in the winter so instead of trying to fly in they annoy my dogs by pecking at the door.
