Normally it is quite, every one has their place. Tonight their was a lot of complaining. Mama was calling with distress in her call. To night mama moved into the main coop out of the 6x10 isolation/brood pen.
Mama first what end to roost, so she kicked every one off. 2 of the chicks made it up their. Then she settled for the nesting area on top. She kept calling them, two just couldn't figure out how to get to mama. Finally all is well.

She is doing great....... Her chicks all have full crops..... Or a tumor on their might side.

A little blue/green beauty. The color is better than shows up here. Just trust me, it's beautiful. It was in Primrise's nest. That's good, so not eating them and laying in a nest.

Did you tell them the hounds were comming? great hopefully your other girl will take notes.

Oh, NO!!!! That is horrible. My prayers are with her. Her piglet,too???!!!??? So sad.

Thank you everyone for your concern and prayers. Yes, whatever attacked and killed one of our appenzellar spitzhauben also fatally wounded the pig. She was past saving and in great pain so we had to put her down. 

so sorry, I hope you are able to find what attracted and killed your Sitzhauben and so badly injured Piglet. My dad loved pigs, it makes me think of my dad. They have such personalities. I feel dearly for your loss.

I have started down a slippery slope. Up until tonight, I would use an entire bar of Lemon's soap before opening up another bar. Weeellllll...tonight the Cherry soap kept calling me...soooo, I opened it. It's beautiful!

i love opening up a bar, it's wrapped so pretty, like a present! It smelled so wonderful!! I'm hooked!!! I can't wait to open another bar!!

Oh, the slippery slope, lined with bubbles. I count no less than 18 at my kitchen sink

Thankfully most of them are slices and not bars. But STILL! 18! I am apparently at the bottom of the slope in a pile of bubbles

I am glad that you like the Cherry blossom bar. That fragrance is one of my favorites!

That would be really neat, if at some point you did a "variety" sink pack. Not full sized bars, but a way to try different varieties. You choose the variety...I wouldn't give people options, we are a pain in butt!

I did tell them, Pam. I think that did the trick. I don't know which one laid it. I hope this has gotten things going. I can't imagine why or how she went to Prim's nest. Prim's nest is by itself up high. How would she even know there was a nest there? Anyway, I am hoping both will go to nests somewhere. I have the nesting house with two nesting boxes, there is a nesting box in the Amercauna coop and another one in Prim's dog kennel. I was thinking yesterday that I might go ahead and get Prim a coop, although she likes the dog kennel.

Been so busy

But its a good busy. Building and addition to the rabbitry and a few dozen cages, babies are waiting patiently as long as we give them cuddles lol

fertilizing and tilling gardens, pain in my bum but I want somesort of good harvest this year. Not just pretty :/

gearing up for a 2nd attempt at processing and growing out the next batch.
Met new friends this week, Prim it was a pleasure thanx, then I took time out to introduce Roar the dinosaur that CackedNut sent to him. Thank you, he's been in awe after the 1st few minutes lol He has a new buddy even if he was a lil terrified at first Mwahahaha
