"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Really wish we had more of this around here.  Doug says, we should think about doing this ourselves...  such a country area but a lot of people tho scattered, big home town buying practices. Actually, I believe he wants (ME) to be the one to do most of it.  Which would be cool!  Selling jam, berries, veges, my kind of life!  I would have to start quilting again!

Maybe you could get in on the action selling eggs. Maybe grow something to sell. Or make something. You could make extra cash and network with people other farmers find out what's in your area.

I sent the administrator a message to her FB. I asked where they buy from and where pick up and distribute their feed. I'm hoping we can join them they have 155 members so I would think it would be cheaper food if we join. We could shuttle our orders from there. I have a truck and trailer to pick up from them if they deliver to the coast. From there we could figure out a central place for pick up. I know we're far from making this happen. I just hope it really works out they call their co-op the feed train.-A Mississippi organic livestock feed co-op.

I think Julie has the best location. It would go threw the BR area and drop off then up to her. I could pick it up from her and bring it north. Just an idea, she is a busy person and I don't know how she would feel about it but her or if we have someone in Alex would be the most central locations.

Well, my Pyrenees is howling on the back porch? He takes off when I open the door.... he has dropped the dead body of one of the stray dogs in the area on MY PORCH!!!! Excuse me while i go get him a chunk of roast....
OH AND IT IS SNOWING!!!

Something like that sounds good hope it works out. Julie did say she would want in that might work bc she will probably have one of the biggest orders.

I have a question. I found the 2nd blue/green egg today in Prim's nest. The last one was slightly greener and this one is slightly bluer. Almost the same but a little difference in the color. Does that mean the eggs came from different hens or could they be from the same hen? Thanks. Just trying to figure out whether they both or laying in Prim's nest or whether I need to keep looking for hidden eggs.

It could be either. If they are buddies then they will most likely lay in the same spot. Mine have a different nest for each breed grouping (not my choice, theirs).

Thanks. They are DEFINATELY buddies. If one notices her buddy moved a few feet away, she freaks and runs to get close again. I would love it if they are both laying in the same place, AND I KNOW where it is!! Lol
