Hardly sheeted, no snow. But it is really cold. Update: sleeting. Only the Amercaunas figured out that it was warmer in the coop. The others are under the coop but it is blocked from wind and there are a lot of leaves under there. Bunnies are in the dark but reasonably warm and their water isn't frozen. Yea! I'm out there every hour or so to check conditions. We aren't built for this. All my designs are built for terrible heat and moderate cold. This is a bunch of bull baloney. (The "bull" part is an acknowledgment to CatDaddy).

Anyone ever heard/done this? Thought I would share...

I haven't heard of this but because it is such a serious condition, I would advise that it is ONLY tried out under strict doctor supervision. The reason I say this is because insulin levels can drop rapidly with little or no warning if you replace it with something else. Without insulin you will die. If you bring the research behind it to your doctor they may be willing to help you out.

I will share with one of my nephews. He has a good doctor, has a little of the old world in him. But he understands his patients. Those that are not open to assisting your body in curing itself, he will go to meds. Open to benifits of raw milk, raw honey and not being overly sanitary/sterile. If you go to raw milk, know the sourse. I really like him.
