The turkeys I raised, all of them turned out to be hens, are perfectly sweet. They are a bunch of greedy hams. Question, when do turkeys start to lay?

Oh dang, Bugglesmommy!! Now I want turkey hens!! I never thought about wanting turkeys before!!! They are so beautiful.

Welcome to BYC I live in Haughton. Tell us about your chickens. I'm getting mine March 20. Dorkings, N Hamp's, Lt Sussex etc. Just finishing setting my brooder up. Exciting huh?

Not sure what we have. One looks like RIR one is white with some black trim other two look like twins brown and white. Mom and I were rooked into chickens by daughter and son in law. Bought them year ago at TSC. But we enjoy them.
