Ok, I realize I sound a LITTLE hostile today. Sorry, don't mean to . Just tired of STUPID!!!
You don't sound hostile to me. You sound highly aggravated, and for a good reason!

LOL -- my "EX-fiancee" is still living in Nashville. He couldn't wait to get out. I couldn't wait to STAY PUT! I wouldn't even leave to go away to college - I am a graduate of La. College in Pineville.
When I was 10 years old, I used to ride my white mare Lady all over out here. Out of all the places we went, my favorite was the 3 pecan trees in the center of the pasture. I used to ride out there & share a PB&J sandwich with Lady & I swore that some day, I would live on a place just like that.
My Grandfather decided that year to divide up his land among his 8 children. We all gathered at his place & he put the lot numbers of the property into his cap & had each person come up & draw a lot.
When it got to Daddy - who was the youngest - there was one slip of paper left in his cap. Daddy told me to go up and get it.
It was the 10 acres I loved so much. Those 3 pecan trees still stand in my backyard today.
The hatchery threw in an extra Cornish X chickNo complaints from me on that one!
I can relate to that. When I left to go to college, I always knew I would be going BACK to the country after graduating from college. I had a lot of friends that wanted to go to these big cities to live. Not me. I always knew where my heart was. Now some of those same friends have either moved back home or planning to move back. A guy that I dated in college wanted to live in the "BIG CITY" after we graduated. I hate to say it but I broke up with him for that reason. I knew that I wouldn't make it in the BIG CITY, so I called it off because of our differences. I knew that I would never change his mind and he would never change my mind as far as where we wanted to live. Best decision I ever made. Needless to say, he is still in the BIG CITY and I"m still a country girl.Oh, and another reason we couldn't make it because he said that I never asked him to do anything for me. I"m like, "HUH". He said I always did things myself and I never asked for any help. Uh, well, I can't help it if my daddy taught his baby girl the right way. I can't depend on a man to do EVERYTHING for me. That ain't happening. My daddy taught me to NEVER depend on a man for everything. Be independent and that's what I do.

Haha. That was one of the big reasons for my divorce. He said I could do anything he could do. I was single for a long time and poor and a single mom and I had to learn how to do things bec I sure couldn't hire anyone. I never could understand what his problem was. Ok, you cut the grass, you dismantle the deck, you build the fence. He was upset bec I was going to do those things, but he was also upset to do it himself knowing I could. So, was I suppose to just forget I can do things. Besides, I like to do those things. I am who I am, and if I can beat you at something, I have a good time, and if you beat me at something I still have just as good of a time. "Why did you marry me and say you love how independent I am only to hate that about me after we're married?" Just don't get it.
I haven't heard back from her yet. The owners never lived there. It started as a barn that someone closed in. It has many "issues".She should feel STUPID saying that they wouldn't have done that.
So what did she say when she saw the pics? What happened to the owners of the property?
