"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

There is just too much to catch up on, BUT
IM SO SORRY FOR YOUR HUBBY'S INJURY. Hope so much it all heals quickly...

I LOVE to new chicks pic!! They aren't in at my local TC yet... but I am just wanting a certain couple of breeds anyway, and I'm sure they wont have those.

Duckling pics are adorable as well!

Oh, and I am DEFNITELY not as feminine as some ma wish I was. But Doug lovers having someone in his life now that is a contributor, not just a sponge so I think m y toughness and abilities to push myself to not NEED him, but WANT him does our relationship just fine. My ex was so awful, I was bedridden pregnant, 7 months along, and I alpne had to climb on the roof and saw off limbs that had grown into the roof, cause it was leaking and he wouldn't... didnt even bring me water.... and it was a HOT June day.... never saw him mow the grass either. Was I DRUNK the whole time???? Lord does not know why I married that jerk....

This I what I found this morning! Obviously I have a new pullet trying to become a layer!! Thank goodness, looks like my idea of mixed breeds for x-large eggs is working out fine!

My husband and I are looking for a good home for a black silkie roo - about 6 months old. We have 6 chickens in the backyard, but Tom insists on our 2 silkies staying indoors because "They're so little...They would get picked on." Unfortunately, while our white silkie chick turned out to be a female, the black one turned out to be a male, and Tom has finally had enough of the crowing in the house. Ideally, we would love to swap the male silkie for a female one, because we know that Snowball will get lonely when her boyfriend goes away. We're located in Walker. Anyone interested?
