"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

This is the only person that could explain the beak loss:

How is beak trimming done?

It is most commonly done using a hot blade beak trimming machine with an electrically heated blade. An infrared beak trimming method is also in use, particularly for beak trimming of day-olds in the hatchery. It uses a non-contact, high intensity, infrared energy source to treat the beak tissue. Initially the beak surface remains intact but after a few weeks the sharp hook of the beak erodes.

My girl is supposed to have a balloon sinu plasty today

She got really sick though since her last appointment, so I am not sure if they will go through with it. It would not be good to be coughing when the DR is sticking that up your nose

She really wants to get it over with. We are all hoping this will slow down or stop her cycle of constantly getting sinus infections that sometimes goes into bronchitis. Prayers needed for my sickie.

Hope you all have a lovely day

Thank you Pam. I didn't know about the morphine. He has trouble getting up and down and walking and he moans a lot. Is it possible he could die at home or is he doomed to be moved somewhere? I have no experience with this, but he does. His father died of cancer. He knows what is going to happen. He shares little bits with me.

Keeping him on our prayer list here for a peaceful passing at home.

It just dawned on me I need to change my avatar. I am now officially "peacockless" as well as "roosterless". I rehomed my peas Saturday to a nice young couple from Fifth Ward. Time to scale back.
