"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Yep a dog on its owners property is a pet, a dog on someones else's property is a predator. That is the way it goes. You do have the right to protect your livestock (used to be a hanging offense not too long ago/horse thievery) Your nieghbor is trying to buffalo(bully) you by telling you that you cant do a thing about it. A 12 ga. shotgun with 00 buckshot will solve that problem, and the neighbor too if he attempts anything stupidly, unhuh.

It's been sad reading about so many losses from Tractor. So wierd. That is hard.
Linda, I cheer your granddaughter's recovery. I love the word "pistol" when talking about kids.
Miztre, I will pray for your coworker. I have heard about the mouth/teeth connection to the heart. I also work hard to keep up my teeth. That's why they won't clean your teeth and work on them at the same time.
A couple of you said it would go fast with my friend and it has shocked me how true it was. Yesterday I couldn't go in the morning to his house, it is 45 minutes away and I also have my elderly mom in my house. Anyway, when I headed his way at 6:00 I found out he couldn't get out of his bed all day and had no food or water!!! I went to the grocery Znd got a case of bottled water and food. I loosened the top of each bottles and put by his bed and heated food and brought it to him. I also put a box of fruit cups, fiber bars and boost next to his bed. Today he was having trouble breathing so I am going to see about setting up
Oxygen. I wish I could be there more.

Sweetie, is he determined to stay home? He will need nursing full time almost immediately. A gentle reminder might get through. I don't think he has time to set up home health. He's going to need more. My heart breaks for both of you. You are such a loving person.

Yeah Nikki is a pistol. I'll talk about her another time. Take care

Oh ma goodness! I just saw this case posted on the fb page of Cenla bottomline News........the owners of the Chi are saying that the chicken owner came and shot the dog on their property while it was locked in its own backyard. I wonder if that's true. I think the shooter is still in the clear though because he was trying to prevent this from recurring after it had already happened twice.

Some of the comments on the post are just ignorant though. Like, "How absurd, a Chi would/could never kill a chicken". I know for a fact that they can and will......for FUN! Many years ago we tried adopting a little sweet Chi. We unfortunately found out it liked to and could chase down and kill one of my full grown hens that was almost 3 times the size of the dog. Happiest dog in the world when I caught him with one of my hens dead in front of him. He didn't understand why I could ever be upset about what he had done, he though he had done a great job. We had to rehome him.

Okay I being LAZY, were do you buy your egg cartons from? I need some now ran out of the recycled ones I was using. My hens or laying great & my costumers or good. Feeling

I get mine from My Pet Chicken. I get the gray recycled pulp cartons. They are very sturdy and very well made. My last order was 50 cartons for a total of $34.86. They are one piece dozen cartons, but can be separated into 1/2 dozen which works well for me. I have oval labels I got cheap from Vista Print that stick very well to them. Here is one I cut into a 1/2 dozen. I really like the option of cartons that look nice as a dozen and still look nice cut along perforations into 1/2 dozen.
