"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Terri, I love your good news and pray it keeps coming.
Kuntrygirl, I pray strength to make it through being a mom to hungry lambs.
Congrats on your NPIP!!! Yea!!!!!
Angel, thanks for our yard cleaning party on Monday. You're the best.
Great news: switched the hospice care. Wow!! Not even a way to compare. The new one is coming 5 days a week, already gave bath, shampooed hair , shaved. Great supplies and happy and totally helpful. The bathroom is clean and the whole thing was such a relief. Thank you to you who showed me that hospice can be so very much more and switching was a breeze. Now I know his hygiene is cared for and with a couple of us staying on top of things along with the hospice, he is getting regular care and not alone very often. Hugs to everyone.

I am SO glad you switched & got the proper service needed!

Question: What is the purpose of being certified except to show your flock is free of Pullorum-Typhoid? Is this so you can sell commercially, or does it serve another purpose?
Forgive my lack of knowledge, but I am new to chickens and all things chicken related :)

Congratulations by the way!!!

Hey Primrose, I am new and know we don't know one another, but I read what about your need for hospice care and feel compelled to say a couple of things.

First, *hugs* for whatever the situation is and I'll put you and your family in my prayers!
Second, I became familiar with hospice when my grandmother passed many moons ago and when we moved here I volunteered with our local hospice for two years. It was a deeply emotional experience. We had the need for hospice services for the better part of 2012 when my dad was ill from bladder cancer. Needless to say my heart goes out to you and I love the relief and support they provide to the caretakers and family! God Bless

Same here.

This is what I need for my babies. :bow

I'm on a mission to find it now.

The next book in a series that I love reading came! I can't wait for 5:00 to get here!!! If I hadn't left early yesterday to bring the pups home from the vet, I would sure leave early today! I plan to stay up LATE tonight & cherish every word!!!
(It's the Black Daggar Brotherhood, a vampire series by JR Ward in case anyone's interested -- great reads)!

I was leaving to come back to work from lunch & went by my folks' house next door, on my way back past my house I spotted the guineas fixing to cross the road to my aunt's house again. I whipped into my driveway, jumped out & grabbed a couple of sticks & ran screaming (& cussing) at them, skipping around puddles & slinging sticks. They hollered back & took off running across the yard heading around to the back. You know how comical they look when they run.

I heard a cheerful truck honk & it was one of our field guys from work driving past - slowly -- enjoying the scene of the department secretary running & jumping & throwing sticks & screaming at the top of her lungs. I'm so glad I was able to give him his LOL moment for the week...

At least it's "Casual Friday" - so I was in jeans!
