"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

It could be a few things. They could be completely gone and the chickens are reacting like we do for a while after a bout of head lice. The treatments could have dried out their skin making it itchy. The stress from the mites and treatment could have forced another molt. Or you could still have mites. I wouldn't think you still have them because you followed a very aggressive treatment plan on schedule. Are they picking themselves or each other? If they are picking themselves I suggest putting some utter butter on the exposed areas. They sell in in the lotion isle of walmart but it came on the market as a utter lotion that doesn't contaminate milk during milking. If they are picking each other I suggest to put some blu kote on exposed areas. For nervous issues (like when we have lice) I suggest both utter butter on exposed areas to calm and added protein for quicker regrowth and distraction.
They've been blue koted (correct term?). I resprayed the coop, run, nesting boxes. Allowed to dry. I gave them some freeze dried meal worms and will add some BOSS to their diet. I've had to be careful because of Lucy's crop. I may have to lock her up while the others get the BOSS. I also got something from Tractor Supply, I think it was pick stop? I put it on Edna (EE) her back is bare. She was TICKED!!
I will look for the lotion tomorrow morning. I remember using it for "stuff" before, just never chickens. LOL...
Thanks to everyone for the help!!!!

I compost 3 ways. I use a barrel composter (worked awesome! But just listed it because it doesn't make enough for the property, mainly great for one or two smaller gardens or a normal sized yard.) But every 12 week's or so a full barrel of gross scraps turns into rich soil.

I also have a pile of long term compost (chicken poo, cardboard, excess grass cuttings, and excess of hay.) Chicken poo is a "hot" fert and should be composted before use (i do use it right outta the chicken in my banana trees tho (heavy heavy feeders when fruiting)
And then I have these lovely stackable pallets we stack up 3-4 high. Fill with all kitchen scraps that chickens don't get, garden waste, egg shells, everything except meat (predators) then once a month I unstack each one and re stack it directly in front or behind the original place sliding compost with it effectively "turning" it. These boxes work pretty fast when full and turned regularly.

I personally don't compost rabbitry waste unless I need a lil bit to top it off. I sell rabbitry waste and use a ton of it ourselves in the gardens. Full circle. Rabbit poo does not have to compost, its a cold fert. Sprinkle directly through gardens and potted plants, lawns, fruit trees love it. I wrap spent hay around veggie garden plants to fertilizer when I water and the spent hay works also as a mulch keeping soil near roots cool and moist a lot longer in our brutal heat.

PLEASE come move by me!!!!!!!!!!

Not cool. They can't even show up to a meeting to address the concerns of the community they are trying to be in? Keep them OUT. No fracking in St Tammy. Residents don't need water issues.

My life will never be the same until January 2015. :/

The extreme couponing is going great!! Thanks to everyone who has been sending coupons. I have 1 bedroom full of stuff (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap, cereal, pasta - you name it I have it). Now, I have to find metal shelves to put all of this stuff on. :/

I think I need an intervention! :(
