"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Great job! Make sure to rotate. I did this for about a year and stock piled toiletries, kitchen needs, canned goods and all sorts of things. Was a lot on my plate tho and once I had full cupboards I stopped and shouldn't have. I'm low now but made it about 2 years. Lost a few things to expiration dates on a set of "catch all" shelves :gig but all in all saved thousands. Hang in there. When Isaac storm hit many lost power for days I loaded up cases of bottled waters, bags of cup o soups, tuna, sardines, chili, toiletries and pet foods for people in need that didn't cost me anything but time couponing months earlier.
Hey y'all. How's it going? I am missing so much. Glad that you all are having fun !!!!!!!!!! It's all down hill for me. No fun at all. No need to explain at ALL!!!!!!!!!! :barnie :hit

The peas have started laying. :hit

My life will never be the same until January 2015. :/

The extreme couponing is going great!! Thanks to everyone who has been sending coupons. I have 1 bedroom full of stuff (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap, cereal, pasta - you name it I have it). Now, I have to find metal shelves to put all of this stuff on. :/

I think I need an intervention! :(

OH yea. I always rotate. Since it' s just me, I won't buy too much "food". I'm stocking up on personal hygiene items. I wish I could get some good deals on tuna but I know it' s a waiting game and you have to buy what's on sale and not what you need at the time. Seems like the only thing I"m paying is taxes because everything is free. I have to make it work where I will have overage and the overage will pay for the taxes.

I'm having fun!!!!!! But it's a lot of work. :/

Nothing new with me. The peas have started laying this week. I will be incubating their eggs. Not looking forward to that.

I have placed my 1st large order of 200 paper towels that will be here next week. I will end up paying just taxes which will be $16.00. Not too bad for 200 rolls of paper towels. That makes each roll cost $0.08. My back room will never be the same. :)

It's buying mass quantities to have provisions in case of natural disasters or civil unrest. It's a show on discovery channel. Pam

Oooooooo, sounds like my kinda show. I will have to watch that. Thanks for educating me on that. Sounds like I better buy mass quantities of shot gun shells for that "civil unrest."

Okay newbie question here :idunno. What is "ovates" and why are people running out of them or something like that? I keep seeing it referred to but not sure what it is referencing?

They (doomsday preppers) seem to find the biggest nuts with everything wrong with their plan to put on the show. It is funny to watch. There is another one that has preppers on it that do it right and coupon.

At the bottom right of a post there is a green thumbs up. That is how you ovate, you click on it and you can either write something in the box for that person or leave it blank and and click add to reputation. Then to check your ovations you click on my profile at the top right of any byc page. Scroll down on the left of the page it says ovations, click on that. It tells you what thread it came from, what person gave it to you, what they said, and if you hover on the thread it came from it tells you what post it was for (click on it and it takes you to that post). It is our reputation system and only you and the mods can see how many you have. Getting a high number makes your advise valuable. At the time of writing this you have 2 ovations for the post I am replying to so go check it out.

I'm going to see if I can pull up some older shows on You Tube. That sounds like a lot of fun.
