"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Hi on a wet day. Hey! Wait! I see sun!! I know it won't last, but nice. Gardens needed the rain. Why is it Louisiana only has two modes: sideways gully washer blow out rain or drought? Some places it just rains in a normal way. Like others, found out my coops are in a good spot but the shelter needs some adjusting. I think I ruined a new fan. I'll need to hang a shower curtain on the back side of the shelter to keep the fan dry. Everything else was ok, yard flooded but critters ok.
Who made that super cool coop? It looks so professional!
Cocci has runny, bloody poop. Next time you go to get Corid, check in the cattle supplies. It's off-label for chickens, but it saved Primrose's life after Katniss 1 and Katniss 2 died from Cocci. You mix it the same as for cattle. Something like one teaspoon to a gallon of water. Also, if you cut a plastic straw down to about 2" and put the mixture in the straw it's easier to get in them. A syringe works, too. Just get some in them bec sometimes they won't drink on their own. It DEFINATELY pulled Prim through.
The egg Prim laid day before yesterday had a nice hard shell. Yea!!! She had laid soft ones over more than a week. They rediscovered the nesting boxes in the dog house which they had abandoned for 8 or 10 months. Go figure!
