"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I was wrong 13 went  into lockdown and 11 hatched.  I'm so excited.  I reordered from DMRippy.  This is so new I don't know if they are sex links.  7 yellow w/a couple of black dots and 4 black with white head spot.  I'll also try feather sexing later.   They are all drinking.   I'm taking them out the the storeroom this pm because it's warmer.  And I can moderate their heat.  I reordered the doz for $12 + $12 shipping.  She said she can send maybe a  few  extra 18? if I sent another $3 shipping.  I flew like the wind to paypal.  I still have 12 mix batch of basque and coronation sussex but  I'm not anticipating such a smooth delivery next time.  I threw out 3 sloshy ones.  They are nine days behind    :weee
I'm a little sad today because my friend and mentor Beekissed from other threads got into a argument about fermented feed with another opinionated person   and was banned.   I don't expect her back.  I'll miss her.

Can you tell me where that happened at I would like to read what was so bad. If I don't think it was cause for being banned we could contact the higher ups and tell them she has been a great contributor and if enough people speak up maybe they would reinstate her.

I don't think so. Bee has had several threads closed because of her temper. On the Fermented feeds for meat birds this guy comes on and says don't feed ff or you'll kill your chickens. Bee answered back " pay no attention to the troublemaker. He is in the pay of big bus feed companies. Back and forth neither giving an inch until the moderator stepped in. If you read the first page or so of the Natural chicken keeping OT welcome. They talk about it being a new thread after the old one that Bee started was shut down. Thousands of posts and just shut down. She was gone for nine months. Then came back. I met her my first day and still think my greatest accomplishment is Ferment feeds and deep litter. Her two threads. She was my mentor but had a temper. She will be missed.

Ok my la peeps I want to keep a few different breeds I want to breed pure lines together how many hens should I keep to one rooster
i
I don't know the answer I'm going to try the same on breeds that are common I would keep one unless you have a lot of hens. For rare breeds I will be keeping two incase something happens I'll have a back up..this is my opinion I don't know if their is a correct answer maybe ask kuntrygirl. Pam

Yeah, for a while Bee was on the other forum, answering newbie questions. Then they had a fight over there and she came back here. So I understand.

But this last one was totally different person. Last 10 pages or so of meat birds ff
