"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Well, my last update on the hatch. I had one that hatched 16 hrs after the last and unfortunately it wasn't doing too well. I thought it was just sleepy but today I noticed it didn't have any eyes. So I gently culled it. SAD. But that's what being a chickeneer is, willing to put them out of their misery. I moved the others from the tiny brooder to the big (for them) brooder. They can't believe it. Space to move.

I'm very satisfied with 11. If you can believe it I had to put them under the lamp in late July.

Not yet, any time now, pubic bone separation on most 2 + fingers, now to get down to 1 or 2 roos, 5 is way to many, they cause toooooo much fuss and 1 likes to attack from behind for no reason. I will be proccessing them tomorrow. or today if they mess with me.

You only have 5 lol I bet I've got prob 8 or 9 to cook or trade

Just because i can I sit on my humans knee and sing to him, i love my new home, my name is 3 toes, i lost one to an attack at my previous owners house. One week and all the 24 rescue birds are still alive and seem to be haeling up ok. Thanks Great Bird Father in the Sky.
I'm sure top dog dad had something to do with it too.

I'm getting rid of my Red Black Breasted Phoenix pair. They are a rare breed. Any one interested PM me will post pics tomorrow.

This is pics from maybe a month ago. They are 5 months old now. Both are flighty and gentle this roo hasn't attacked and is handled regularly.

This isn't chicken related, but my husband is at band practice and both girls are in bed. I GET THE TV TO MYSELF!! Currently eating ice cream and watching old Doctor Who episodes.
Oh my goodness. My girls have gone on a Dr W kick! They started watching from Season 1 Episode 1 last week. Anytime I will let them they are watching another episode. Lol!
