"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

He was a mutt as well- a very big boy. He was an excellent free ranger and protected his girls from everything and anything. He was quite the fighter. Unfortunately, something got him a few weeks ago. I have no doubt he was protecting his hens, because they don't have a scratch on them.

I hate to hear you lost him. All I know about mine is he hatched from a blue egg last summer. I am usinghim as top roo for now. I laugh at him becausevhe likes to stand around on one leg a lot of the time.

They do look a lot alike! Mine looked like a bulldog. This picture shows how wide his legs were.

Luckily, I have quite a few babies off of him, and a nice portion of them seem to look just like him.

I love fluffy butt getting a drink and the one of a fluffly butt between two fence boards. All of them are great pictures, but those two are my favorite.

We got crafty today! I didn't want the big feeders at ts and I had a picture in my head. I bought some PVC, had my husband cut it, and I attached it to the fence.

Now they can't step in it or poop in it! I'm hoping for less food mess, too. I'm sure they will eventually find a way to poop in it, but for now we are poop free.
