Been busy Lotsa projects in the heat

Growing cantaloupes this one tasted amazing

Put out wood ash and sand mixed with dry dirt for meaties to have a place to dust bathe besides the burn pile. They were making me worried napping in the pile too lol
Seems I didn't spread it well! They lined up

Rabbitry is still being worked on. Bottom rows of cages on one side in. Door up. Waterer mounted. Sheeting in to drop waste from top row of cages into gutters to be mounted at ends. It's a lot of work but hubby is kicking butt.

These are 6 week old cream legbar chicks. Their crest are starting to grow in.



The top one is my Bielefelders roo 5 months old he is a gentle giant.the lower pic is the 5 month old crested cream legbar roo ,


They are beautiful birds. Pam

My little hybrids the SBEL's with the CC Legbar rooster over the leghorn, I have about 4 or 5 that are crested. Cute as a button.
