My husband showed me these partying chickens this morning. Lol

Angel gave me Rue today. She had 3 RIR's and gave me my choice. I chose the one that had a pleasure reaction like Primrose's when I scratched her head.
Rue arrives to her new home.

I held Rue in my lap on the bench in the chicken yard. The head hen immediately came over.

The head hen jumped up on the bench to closely inspect the new chicken.

Meanwhile the others came to check her out.

Primrose came over but kept her distance. I think she said,"do my eyes deceive or does that chicken look like me?"
I put Rue in the coop under the blue tarp. She settled down pretty quickly. I turned on the mister which blew toward that coop. Also added frozen bottles and ice cubes in her water. She made herself a little nest with hay and fluffed up comfortably.
