I had a migraine last night so i didnt candle and pull weights untill this AM. Aircells look alot better than they did before, they were large last time, and i havent tweaked it, But they corrected anyway!

I wish I would have known you were doing marens. Marens are the only chicken egg you dry hatch all the way. Even in lock down you don't add water. If you don't hatch good numbers on the marens this would be the reason. Hope I'm wrong and you have a great hatch.I was told that by top marens breeders. Pam
 
Morning y'all! I went ahead and candled last night on day 7 and wanted to give an update. I only set 4 eggs, one is a clear but the other three are doing great. All mutt chickens but oh well the kids are enjoying watching them develop.

I will do some reading up on that particular topic, thanks! I havent added any water to the bator during this incubation but i did intend to once i locked down. I will be sure to reaearch and make sure i know exactly what im doing and Why it should be done, thanks again!

Awe thanks! I feel much better today! Yesterday it felt like a had a hang over from that whopper headache!

Anyway, have a great hatch!! :yiipchick ive been told that those smaller sets like yours are alot easier (and funner!) to maintain!
 
Do any of you guys raise frizzled polish? I am unfortunately on a pullet hunt for one.
