"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

So I opened my back door Saturday morning & this is what greeted me. She's had puppies recently but no milk so they've weaned off. I figure somebody kept the puppies & dumped her. It certainly isn't the first time we've had that happen out where we live. She was wearing a nice blue collar with no tags. In good shape, appears to be young & healthy. Shy but friendly once she warms up to you. No knowledge of basic commands. Of course nobody's claimed her so far. I have her pic posted on Lost & Found Pets of Cenla and also. B.A.R.K.'s FB page. I will have to find a good home for her as four dogs is not feasible. If anybody's interested let me know please!

I had a VERY loud ONE-SIDED conversation with the dogs' owner yesterday and had to go back today! I was out feeding this morning and here the dogs come again. I chased them home and had to wake her up again. From now on I will have a side arm with me and she has been so warned, I'm not doing this again!!!! She puts them in a chain link kennel outside, but the can open the latch, it's the same type of kennels I use for my chickens, see the problem. The dogs have killed most of her chickens so now I guess they are looking for more. It's not like the are next door even, I live on 9 acres, she lives on 12 and there are 4 other properties between us. These dogs are traveling to get here!

Get a clip from the hardware store close the latch and clip the hole under the latch. Pam

:thumbsup i like this plan!

When i saw it i textd her; those are Chiuhauahs after her flock! Maybe she needs to consider that pitt as a chi eater...

Wow they are mean little dogs. I have a new phone and lost your number. Pm it to me or text me if you still have mine. I'll get with you soon. I'm off to get more nesting boxes. Pam

Yall tell me what you think please... I have a few birds that have a runny nose and seem to kind of sneeze every now and then. The roosters crow is kind of raspy and it seems like he's struggling to crow. I gave them .5 cc of Tylan 50 today and plan on doing that for a few days until they hopefully improve. Is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks

I know it may not be appropriate for this site but I am just exploring all the possibilities. If anyone knows of any jobs available for nondestructive testing inspectors or comparable positions please let me know. It is for my husband. Thanks in advance! Teresa

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you, u gna b able to make the denham swap? There were lots an lotsa roos around.
Maybe try some baling wire on the kennel for the meantime? U know were on your side, Shoot Em! Apparently they dont care a whole lot for their aggresive little dogs, letn em be put in a kennel they can escape from, letn em run free...
I had this same problem my place is not as big 5 acres and farmers and orange groves all around . I to carry a side arm but my husband said not to make a stink in the neighborhood as we are a small community so I went to harbor freaght and got a solar powered electric fence so far it's working out. I sat in my house by the window and watch them torture them selves for 2 hours the first day all with my scope and 17 right on them just in case.
