Weird people buying chickens...So I was running an ad on CL for the black roo and 2 hens which have been trying to make a separate flock. They keep trying to set up housekeeping in the yard and carport. Not gonna happen. A couple sent me a $20 paypal to hold them over the weekend for pickup on Monday. (I had them advertised for $40.) They called Monday afternoon and said that they would be here Tuesday and that they were coming from New Orleans (approx. 2 hrs. drive). So they arrived -- not country people--the husband was totally freaked out. He was terrified of the rooster who didn't do anything wrong and said that he would never eat abnormal rotten green eggs. So they ended up giving me $10 more dollars and tucked the white leghorn hen in a box and left. So I sold a 1 yr.old white leghorn hen for $30??
