Looking to rehome a roo in the Covington, LA area

——————
Bantam Easter Egger Rooster - 6-7 months old

Bantam means the rooster is one of the smaller chicken breeds. This Easter Egger has a larger wattle (good for this hot climate), and a white plumage with green tail feathers.

This roo is seemingly docile, doesn’t fuss too much around being handled (not his favorite pastime but he’ll allow it). He greets me when I come out in the morning and gets excited when he hears me or my husband’s voice. If you’re hanging out in the chicken coop he may hop on top of you.

Unfortunately when we got him we thought he was a hen, and we live in a suburb (although, with relatively large land plots) so a rooster does not work. His cockadoodling has already irked some neighbors and there’s likely no ethical way to mute him. If noise wasn’t an issue I would genuinely keep him, he seems very polite.

Looking to rehome him ideally as a pet.

Anyone around who might be interested in some bantam roosters? They are 6 weeks old and I have 4 porcelain d’uccles… 1 buff Cochin… another d’uccles I think, he’s gold… and a partridge Cochin.. but waiting to see if that one is a girl🙏🏻
