I tell ya it's a beautiful day outside for sure!!! I need to get my tarps put up to keep the winds off my roosts! And clean up the coop some!!

I'm taking advantage of this weather and making a crawfish, corn & potato soup for supper tonight!! YUMMY!!

Hi, i'm new to BYC and to keeping chickens. I just recently discovered that I can keep up to three hens within Baton Rouge city limits. I'm working on designs for a coop and eagerly waiting for spring so I can join in the fun.

If there is any sort of group in Baton Rouge for homesteading or chicken keeping, I'm interested!

Seems like the weathers gonna stay pretty nice for a while, only calling for one day to get up to 80 this coming week!

Have fun at the deer camp, my son is wishing it was rifle season already since he doesn't bow hunt!! He tells us everyday how many days are left!! He didn't have any luck youth weekend so I hope it get's better for him!!
