Thank you. I'm glad you got it the package. I hope it works for your girls.

You bought Cornish Rocks? I was trying to stay away from getting some but now since you said that you bought some, I'm tempted. They are so inexpensive at TSC. If I get them, the only problem is that I won't be able to process them when the time comes but I want to raise them to see what they taste like.

I'm torn on what to do.

I think I better leave it alone.

Good luck with tractor and finding that drill.

I hear ya on the Cornish Rocks; I've been mulling over the same thing. Every year I say "this is the year I will learn to process my own chickens" & every year I "chicken out" lol. And here I am with a tractor sitting empty in the back. Although I do plan to move the morons into it in a couple of weeks. My little paper-shredders can learn to shred grass instead!

Well, we processed our first birds in November. They were some black sex link cockrels that we hatched. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I guess you get your mind set that well I can only keep so many roosters so whatcha gonna do with the other?? But I really wanna see how it goes with the cornish. For $1.99 from TSC and you supposed to be able to process at 7 weeks. I had to wait till the others were 6 months and they were still kinda small.

I started on the tractor today and got ALOT done!! And trust me my backs screaming at me right now!! Here's some pics. (Be gentle cause I did this all by myself!!

Give yourself a pat on the back. And then after that, go get a massage because I know your back is killing you.

Well I pretty much finished the tractor except the backside. I still need to get the rod that will hold the tires on it!! I forgot all about that when I was at the store yesterday!!

And look I already have a visitor!!

I'm not liking that gap in the door I think I just need to either get some longer zip ties or get my hubby to rig me up some rope to hold the door in place!!

The tractor looks great!

My son wanted to take the babies outside for a bit so we did. It is so warm, I don't think it could hurt them.

They'll be fine!! And I'm sure they loved it!!

You know I was going to post to you last night and I forgot! I wanted to apologize cause I gave you some wrong information. It looks like Wal-Mart no longer sells the 85 watt red bulbs. I broke one of mine
he.gif
and have been to 3 in my area and not one of them had any!! No I have to try to find one somewhere's. Home Depot had one that was an energy saver it was like 43 watts = 100 watts and it didn't get warm at all!!
