The feathered feet is a light Brahma, right? And the brown/black is a wynadotte, as is the silver/black. I am guessing....

"Thank you for the info. You did a great job with them. I think I will get some. I hope that I don't get attached to them because it will be too difficult to process them. But I will keep your pic as a screen saver to remind me of how delicious the meat will be.

Thanks again"

LOL I like your thought about the screen saver Kuntrygirl! Do you process your turkeys?

Pecknscratch!

AmyLou I have no idea what that white chick w/the black head is, but it sure is pretty! what unusual markings!

It just dawned on me last night that I am back up to 34 chicks & chickens -- what did I do?!!!

I have never processed any of my turkeys. I don't think that I ever will. Having a turkey is different from having chickens. In my opinion, a turkey is more on the level of having peafowl. They are just big beautiful birds that are more for "yard/eye candy" and not for consumption. As long as I have my turkeys, I will never process them. I love having them in the chicken yard. Oh, and I don't eat Thanksgiving Turkey. I don't like turkey. Never have and never will.

. So I would never process them.
