Hey there La-yers and yeah Terri mee-to I also had my first mess of fresh green beans out of my garden and awaiting for my zuchinni and yellow crook't-neck squash also, should be having some ready here in a few days it all depends on how much water I put on them as it sure isn't gonna get it out of my desert garden unless I add it that's for sure and that was probly the only mess of beans I'll get as they are not near any water source for irrigation and besides the deer have eaten practically every green thing 'cept the tread-saav and careless weeds it amazing how those weeds survive on no water and your plants just up and die at the first little sign of drought huh?

I still have plenty of reds and BSls and mixed breed banty/game crosses most you can tell which are pullets by now on all on sale will make somebody a great package deal on chicks got plenty so spread the word all out of great laying stock even the whatchamacallits are good layers they are'nt really seasonal like most bantys are as I've raised them for quite some time and have only hatched out of the creme de' la creme of the layers and they sure make some of the most interesting plumage/color patterns you'll ever see. Anywhoo I shall quit a rambling on and on it's late and I'm tired so I'm typing as it hits me so G'nite everbody till later on here, here.

Jeff

I have a friend that comes over to "do the deed". After the deed is done, I pluck, clean and cut myself. It's time consuming but it's worth it. We did about 12 roosters one weekend and it took all day long.

I don't know of any place in the Lafayette area that processes. I will try to search around today and post it for you.

You live in Lafayette?

If you watch CL's there is a lady in Jackson that sells them all the time!!

She has Lavender Orpingtons, not blue. I just bought 35 Lavender hatching eggs from her...now anxiously awaiting 21 days!

If anyone has Blue Orpingtons, Blue Laced Red or Silver Laced Wyandottes...I am in the market for those!

I breed BLRW. PM me if you're interested. I live in New Iberia. So 2 hours east of you. (If you take 90, of course).
