Do you feel comfortable giving her a call back and kinda letting her know that your animals are dieing and it is of the utmost importance that someone call you back before any more animals die. You may want to use the words "OUTBREAK" & "BIOSECURITY".

I'm about to call back. If the sick ones are savable, I'd hate for them to die because I had to wait too long to find out what meds they needed.

Called back and gotone of the doctors. She's calling the director and finding out what he wants to do. Said something about a relay to get the dead birds to Houma for necropsy. Hope they find out quick

Either they are coming here or they are going to set up some people to help me get the bird there. I might have to bring it so far and then someone else will continue the trip.

Thank God we don't have children yet!

And I wish the soup was from our processed birds. All mine are barely big enough to make a decent size chicken nugget right now! That is ok though. Next year I will be able to make this soup using nothing but homegrown produce

I just have to get all this stuff out of the way first. Just have to keep grinding on!

I agree with the $15.00 for a laying hen. People are taken back by this price. They really DO expect something for nothing and don't realize what we've put into it. I feel that before I go giving chickens away I'll eat the darn thing.

I am going through all the pre-employment mumbo jumbo to be Probation/Parole officer.

I don't have any detailed plans, but we did make a rough sketch of it and I could always jot down a materials list if anyone is interested.
