And I agree with you. I couldn't eat it either. Poor chicken. It doesn't have any feathers to protect it from the sun, the harsh winter (snow), the rain, mosquitoes, a mean roo...... I mean nothing. No protection. Poor chicken!!!!!

Thanks for reminding us that we are in prime time snake season. I've been cleaning up construction debris and have been careful but sometimes you just can't be careful enough.

It barely grazed me, maybe 1/4 inch cut. I washed it out with soap, put some anitbacterial hand cleaner on it (burned like He11, but I figured it was worth it), and out some Neosporin on it once I got home. I would be more concerned about it if I had gotten a puncture wound. I will be going to get myself a Tetnus shot though! I figured I would need it with all the trouble I'm always getting into!
