How to catch a rooster? Happy ending especially for my tennants that couldnt sleep past 4:30am because the rooster pertched outside their window. The neighbor gave me an ok to move the rooster to a new home to live happily ever after, but the catch was I had to catch him. For the last three days I gave it all I had. I thought about the sweet 16 ga. but that wouldnt have went well right off of St Claude Av in NOLA. So my tennant got this idea to build a trap which consisted of a sheet and a hoolahoop. Tonight the darn thing worked like a charm. We netted his butt and threw him in the pet carrier. I guess I got the last laugh after all and it feels so good. I know good and well he found it funny outsmarting me for days but when he went in the carrier he knew the fun was over. I kinda wish I had a video of the whole ordeal. LOL

Wow cool to know someone else has a sweet 16 ga. Mine doesnt get shot much though shells are harder to find.. lol

That they are. I have a small stockpile of shells I use to do a little skeet shooting once in a while. My GrandFather left me the browning sweet 16 and I think about him every time I shoot it. He loved that gun as much as I do. Its the only gun I have used for duck hunting actually.

Actually, the chicken swap/auction thingy is in Shreveport. Isnt that around Alexandria?

Shreveport is a solid 2 1/2 hour BORING drive from Alexandria, altho it is interstate all the way!
