Wow finally I get to get online, I been busy since yesterday morning. Since this coming week is my last week at my current job and I had a couple vacation days left. I took yesterday off so I could have a 4 day weekend. I realized during the week my drivers license had expired on by birthday July 15th. I figured starting a new job I need to upday that. So after a long wait at the DMV yesterday I finally got that then went down to the Social Security office to fill an application for a SS card since I cant remember the last time I had one. Came home after that build two 4x4 dome pens then started moving dome pins with gamefowl in them under my lean to and anchoring them down. This moring once the rain really started and seen the rain blowing right at my 8 bitties I had to get out there and cover the front of the pen.

what a mess this is crazzy. Four day weekend and nothing but rain this is driving me crazzy staying inside. Went sweep and clean in my shop for a while and now cleaning in the house, really bored.. lol
Hope every one is safe and birds are ok.

kuntrygirl like I said not my farvorite but I eat them, I love eating the hearts though.

The rain slacked of for about 30min all the roo's started crowing like crazzy. All is good so for.

I'm almost scared about right now. It stopped raining in Baton Rouge while I was on my way to work and hasn't started back up yet!! Is this the calm before the storm??

All looking good here & we got just over 3 inches so far & breezey--- weather news is on right now & honestly, it looks -- OK -- we still have power too, a miracle!

Love it -- went out to top off feeders a while ago & all of my old girls are inside the coop, hanging out around the feeder & gossipping & having a high ol time -- the younger ones -- well, they've never seen rain like this since they were hatched! -- just a sprinkle here & there -- so they are all outside playing in mud puddles like kids!

Weather guy says we still have 4-8" more to come & wind & expect power outages (boo-hiss)!! tonight & tomorrow.

He says the real rain has just started, but overall the benefits of this storm outweigh the damage unless something really unexpected (tornado) happens.
