GOLF-BALL SIZED HAIL HERE!! I have a ziploc bag of it in the freezer, & Jim took some pics so I will post some tomorrow! All is well as far as animals & people are concerned -- good golly Miss Molly - I have NEVER seen anything like it!!! All sizes & shapes all at once & we all ran for cover - it looked like snow on the ground when it was over, but it was ice & took a while to melt, too.

Hey peeps

I think I hear some rain thinking maybe knocking down some Roos lol I have 7 that are just taking up space and wasting feed lol and I finally have a chicken that is laying eggs lol

Well I decided to sell 2 of my SS. Which in a way is good cause I have a few with way to much white on them. That will leave me with 8 pullets with one rooster!! So I think I'll be good till I start hatching in the spring!!

Check it out!
No there was no tornado, it blew up FAST! I was sitting in the living room watching the 6:00 news & heard our storm alert radio go off in our bedroom. I thought, "what the"? because the SUN was shining outside! Went outside & to the east could see a big dark cloud moving fast. Within 15 minutes it hit & by that time I was back inside, & then started hearing the "thunk! thunk!" on the roof & Jim stuck his head in the door & yelled come see & bring the camera! so I did -- it was just unbelievable. It was all over in about 10 minutes. Hail of all sizes & shapes everywhere. Thank goodness none of the outside animals were injured & let me tell you, we all know chickens aren't the brightest crayons in the box but every one of them was safe & sound inside their coop! They knew that was no ordinary storm...(edited because I can't spell today)

That's big,. did you get any damage to your home or cars? So glad the chickens are OK,.. one of those on a little chicken head would take it out!

Glad that no one got hurt or injured. They are BIG!!!!!!!!! You should send that pic to your local TV station so they can show that pic on the news when they announce the weather.
